I'm interested in applications for optimization technology in the Upstream sector, particularly around planning and scheduling of assets. Issues that interest me include (a) how can we increase collaboration among operating divisions that are "siloed"? (b) how can we apply technology in a non-threatening way, enabling people to make better decisions faster?, and (c) can we apply technology to the management of disruptions more effectively that is done so currently?
